The 4D Treatment Planning Workshop 2014 will cover all aspects of planning and delivering radiotherapy to moving targets, for both photon and particle therapies. The workshop will feature invited talks by several world-leading experts in the field, with plenty of time for questions and discussions. There will also be an extended poster session where attendees can present their own research. We strongly encourage participants to submit an abstract for a poster at the time of registration.
2014 is the 6th time the workshop will take place, and its premier in the UK. As in previous years the aim is for an informal workshop with plenty of discussion. Therefore, the total number of participants is restricted to about 50 and registration will close once we reach this number. To enable participation of as many institutes as possible, we recommend a limit of 3 attendees per institute. To stimulate discussions on confidential research projects, and to enable an open controversy about failures, representatives of commercial vendors will be excluded from the workshop. In return, as in previous years, a report will be published to summarize the main conclusions and any innovations reported during the meeting.
